ColourPop Haul: Hello Kitty, Holiday set, and more!

There is nothing better than coming home and seeing your new makeup at your door, am I right ladies?

I recently went a little overboard when I was shopping the ColourPop website earlier this month, and I figured I should share with you all what I got! I have yet to try everything, but I will provide swatches and my initial impression of the items (hint: they look quite promising!).

ColourPopXHelloKitty: When I first found out that ColourPop was coming out with a Hello Kitty collab, I just about squealed with giddiness. I grew up loving Sanrio and Hello Kitty, and knew I HAD to have some of these items, especially the lip products! I went and purchased all three of the ColourPop x Hello Kitty Lippies, and thankfully they are all different finishes which is great for those who want more variety. I also went ahead and purchased one of the liquid lipsticks, because why not?

Overall, these products are so beautiful. They swatch beautifully, are so pigmented and creamy, and apply well. I love the range of colors, from pinks to reds, and the types of finishes offered. I am especially excited about the Let’s Play lippie stix because I LOVE a good red lip look, and the tiny specks of glitter in it really add to the look to make it even more beautiful. I highly recommend looking into this collab. If you aren’t a matte lip kind of girl, do not fret, the creme and satin lippies are amazing! Personally, I am on the lookout for ColourPop to stock the “Surprise” metallic lip… wish me luck!

Sweet Value Set: This value set is so cute, and I was pleasantly surprised by the two super shock shadows. The “Sweet” set included one ultra satin lip and two supershock shadows. ALLΒ are so beautiful and I am OBSESSED, to say the least.

Highly, highly recommend getting one of the value sets ColourPop has right now. I would not doubt that they are all amazing. No surprise, these are super pigmented and apply easily and smoothly. These are also perfect colors for the holiday season, but also for any time of year.

Highlight and freebies (can I get an Amen?!): I have been wanting to purchase a ColourPop highlighter for a while now, and I figured it was time. I saw that Butterfly Beach was recommended for my skin tone, and I have always been a fan of peachy highlight because it gives me a more natural glow, so I went for it. I was not let down for sure! Check out my swatch below… to keep it short and simple: Get. This. Highlight. It is insanely beautiful, and I honestly feel like it would go great on any skin tone.

I also got two free matte liquid lipsticks because ColourPop was having a promo for free matte lipsticks for a certain amount spent (coming in clutch ColourPop, love it!). I chose “Thursday” and “Saturday” and while I am not usually a fan of liquid lipsticks, because they tend to dry my lips out, these colors are so pretty that I literally will look past my lips drying out. Ok kidding, but you get my point. These matte lipsticks are gorgeous and if you have a chance to get them…do it!

Can we all just take a second and look at all of these amazing swatches? I am still so blown away by the pigmentation of ColourPop and the affordability of their cosmetics. If you have not shopped ColourPop, I urge you to take a look at their website. I assure you there is something for everyone: all skin tones and all skin types.

Remember ladies, makeup has no rules! You do you, because YOU are BEAUTIFUL, with and without makeup.

Until next time, beautiful people.

Leave some love
